The On The Water's Striper Cup
Sean Clark - Top Angler 2007
The 2007 On The Water's Striper Cup Tournament ran from May through September.
The 2007 tournament included a new separate shore division.
Also new - You didn't even need to weigh in a fish to win! This year catch-and-release
anglers were able to have their catch recognized by filling out a release affidavit
and receive
a corresponding Pounders Club Pin.

Wal-Mart FLW Striper Series
In 2007 there were four one day qualifying tournaments. The Wall-Mart FLW Striper Series teams fish for top awards of up to $30,000 in each qualifier.

The 2007 ASA Mercury Striper Tournament Trail consists of 12 tournaments along the Atlantic Coast divided into 3 divisions. Each tournament has a guaranteed $10,000 payout based on a 50 boat field.

Steven Furch caught the biggest bluefish - 38.0 inches.

This year's tournament was held from Friday, Oct. 19th through Sunday, Oct.21.
The largest striped bass caught in the 2007 tournament weighed 27.9 lbs., and was caught by Mike Merola on Run Off III.

This tournament was held from June 1st through June 10 th.

This years tournament was held on Sunday, October 7th.
Martin Mosen won the 2007 Governor's Cup with a 37&3/8 inch striped bass.

2008 National Striped Bass Tournament Trail - Freshwater Striped Bass Fishing
The National Striped Bass Association, along with the Striped Bass Conservation Coalition holds a series of tournaments at some of the best freshwater striped bass fishing lakes in the country.
Nine 1-day qualifying tournament events are held, which qualify for a 2-day championship tournament.
The first qualifying tournament of the current series was held at Lake Cherokee in Tennesse on November 10th, 2007.
