On The Water Magazine's Striper Cup
The 2009 On The Water Magazine's Striper Cup Tournament ran from May 4th through September 20th.
You didn't need to weigh in a fish to win! Catch-and-release anglers were able to have their catch recognized by filling out a release affidavit and receive a corresponding Pounders Club Pin.

The Monomoy Shootout
The 1st Annual Monomoy Shootout Fishing Tournament was originally scheduled for August 28-30th, 2009 at Chatham, MA.
This tournament was rescheduled to September 11th to 13th because of tropical storm Danny.

2nd - Team No One Has To Know- 15.55 lb. Striped Bass
3rd - Team Restless - 11.45 lb. Striped Bass

Jersey Coast Shark Anglers' 17th Annual Striped Bass Tournament
This tournament was held from the 13th to 14th June, 2009.
First place winner was Miss Linda, skippered by Robert Hawryluk.
The winning 38 pound striper was caught by Dan Young.
2009 Winner Gene Brendel
2009 NJ Governor's Surf Fishing Tournament
The 2009 NJ Governor's Surf Fishing Tournament was held at Island Beach State Park on October 4th.
The tournament was well attended. The largest fish caught was a 32 inch striped bass
caught by Gene Brendel.

The 26th Annual MSSA Spring Tournament, "Championship of the Chesapeake", was held on May 1-3, 2009.

2009 Maryland Watermens Association 14th Annual Pro-Am Event
The 14th Annual Rockfish Tournament dates are June 12th, 13th, & 14th, 2009.
2008 Winners:
1st place: William Kramer - 23 lbs. lbs.
2nd place: Brian Councell - 16lbs.
3rd place: William Libercci - 15 lbs.
William Kramer won the combined overall weight category with 40.12 lbs.
Charles Candon won a Ford F-150 in the drawing.

"The Fisherman" 2009 Dream Boat Fishing Challenge
This tournament was open to all subscibers to The Fisherman Magazine.
This tournament ran from April 1st to Nov. 30th.

Charles Decescenzo won the drawing for the Dream Boat, a fully equipped Maycraft 23 ft. Center Console. Charles qualified for the drawing with his 19.25 pound bluefish.
Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout
The 8th Annual Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout was held from January 7th to 9th 2010, at Virginia Beach, Virginia. This tournament was also the 2010 ASA Series kickoff.
